A Poem After Auschwitz In our post-war world,A Poem After Auschwitz by ~Acquadiluna
All beauty crawls sick,
Raises its voice in pain,
Has no new fancy trick
Now we are chained to the mundane
In our dreamland dead
Two withered flowers
Sun is hid behind the skies
The night is now ours
To sow seeds with tears in our eyes
The light among the darkness
A smile after all the sadness
They are just a poem after Auschwitz
A Nightingale's crescendo in the night
Before he sails in a most elegant flight,
He is just another poem after Auschwitz
In the times of anger
Many and many a loss,
All them dearly mourned
In front of a holy cross
We must leave behind all times scorned
In the grand fantasy

The Vanishing Eventide Once the moon went out of lightThe Vanishing Eventide by ~Acquadiluna
The stars could not reach my sight
And did the grief become my bride
That tragically precious eventide
Expected hope, dressed in silence,
Are you reality or just plain pretense?
Take me, by the hand, to the prison
But please, first take away my vision
So I do not know where I'm sent.
But, oh! What is that lovely scent?
Reminiscence of my lost homeland
A feeling I will never understand
Where am I now maters not
For all behind came to naught
Slowly perished and then died
That self imposing eventide
But now, my dear snowflakes
Have watered the dry lakes
And now the swans swim
But I don't expect

Ophelia Among The Poppies No mentions of thee, yet I remember,Ophelia Among The Poppies by ~Acquadiluna
For what passion burns leaves ember;
A sight of thee can't ever be forgotten.
I recall the grandeur of thy blue eyes
In the midst of the deepest of my cries
When the smiles of others lay rotten
Why did you sail along white darkness?
Why won't you come back, my darling?
Did the heavens grant thee the purple
That you wore along with wild flowers,
Throughout thy beautifully tragic hours
Down this stream that once did burble?
Ophelia, among poppies you drowned
Now flowers lay on thy funereal ground
May the heaven open its gates for thee
And all the seraphs sing along with thee
Awake, to the pul

The Drowned Most cruel distance, a dead end waitingThe Drowned by ~Acquadiluna
Couldst thou not spread thy tiny wings?
So I can overcome summers and springs
Whose shriek lingers on, and still grating
Drowning me in images of great bright
Where there's a lady whose hair is white
And she tells me it is time for her to die
With tear-laden eyes, she stares at me
Now in her realm, I am the absentee
And I'm cursed to ask myself: why?
Most cruel distance, take me down
Drain all the strength I keep within
Forget everything I have ever been
Do not save me now, let me drown
I have been waiting for this moment
Now, let me drown...

That negative thought, burn it now,
Find a way, conquer it somehow,
Smile and laugh and sing instead,
Beware, there's danger ahead.
That open trap 'bout to let fly,
Snap it shut, don't wonder why,
Destroy that inquisitive thread,
Beware, there's danger ahead.
Be silent, proceed with caution,
Stay alert, despite exhaustion,
Darkness and lies, they are widespread,
Beware, there's danger ahead.
That negative thought, burn it now,
Beware, there's danger ahead.

At Last, Some Warmth It's the way you look at meAt Last, Some Warmth by ~EscapingThePast
-The way your eyes touch mine...
That sends me ever so close to Heaven.
Tell me you will forever stop me from crashing down,
Because the reality that you create is endlessly sweet
-And so much better than mine.

Gefallener Engel Her eyes alone where a siren's callGefallener Engel by *Tsuki-Tai
Something no man could deny
The words that she spoke sealed the deal
Even if they only whispered lies
The skönhet of the fallen ones
The Teufel herself
Once you fall into her trap
There is no call for help
You fell for her
like Adam did with eve
Even though that the hexe
lies and deceives
That fallen keruben
From heaven she fell
and on her way down
She will drag all she can to hell
By tempting ways
and her vixen charm
She shall deceive thee
and break thy heart
